Principal's Message

Greetings to all Edgemont Families!

It is a privilege and honor to serve the Edgewood community and to support all students as they grow physically and academically during the middle part of their K-12 education.  Edgemont is a truly unique school in the Puyallup School District given the size and grade span.  We believe this gives an advantage in getting to know our students and helping them to succeed.

Our focus in the 2024-25 is engaging students through Project Based Learning.  Staff members have spent a significant amount of time in training during the 2023-24 school year and the summer to build projects related to our district curriculum.  Ultimately, we want students to demonstrate their abilities through meaningful work and enjoy what they are doing in the classroom.

We know that student success also requires a partnership between the school and home.  Our commitment is to keep you informed about everything related to Edgemont through our website and ParentSquare.
