Home of the Eagles
House System
Students at Edgemont Junior High are placed into one of four houses for their entire time at the school. Each house contains students in grades 6-9, has student leaders who organize activities, and adult advisors who help plan and carry out events. The purpose of the house system is to help with belonging across the school as well as to instill healthy competition.
During the course of the year, houses can earn points for a variety of games, academic challenges, and for meeting different behavioral challenges. The culminating event is the House Cup which ultimately determines the winner for the year.
